International XAFS Society Awards

The Awards Committee of the International XAFS Society solicits nominations for three awards:

# IXS Edward Stern Outstanding Achievement Award
(2003 Award: Dale Sayers, North Carolina State University)

# IXS Farrel Lytle Young Scientist Award for Theory or Instrumentation
(2003 Award: Matthew Newville, University of Chicago)

# IXS Dale Sayers Young Scientist Award for Applications of XAFS
(2003 Award: Paola D'Angelo, Universita' La Sapienza, Roma

These awards are made every three years at the International XAFS Conference.
Nominations are solicited for awards to be made at the 13th International XAFS Conference (XAFS13) in Stanford, USA, July, 2006.
