| DATA ACQUISITION AND ANALYSIS: |
Data Aquisition: XAS-Collect used for XAS spectra.
Photoemission spectra are collected by electron energy analyzers installed on UHV chambers. Software Super (installed on the beam line computer) can be used to control standard PHI CMA ananlyzers.
Data Analysis: EXAFSPAK for XAS spectra. Core level photoemission peak fitting can be performed using any XPS peak fitting procedures. See simple (free) fitting program called XPSPEAK at http://www.phy.cuhk.edu.hk/~surface/XPSPEAK/ X-ray Data Booklet |

| Sample Preparation Labs: | The SSRL Structural Molecular Biology (SMB) Sample Preparation Laboratories are available to users by prearrangement. To use a laboratory, users must complete laboratory training, and provide a list of all chemicals to be brought, used or stored in the Sample Preparation Laboratory. For details, contact Cynthia Patty (650-926-3925). | ||||||||||||||
