| GENERAL DESCRIPTION: | BL2-3 is a multipurpose station that is used for x-ray absorption spectroscopy, x-ray absorption spectroscopy imaging (microfocus), optics development, and instrumentation calibration. It also serves partially as a facility station where new instrumentation, such as detectors, is tested as part of commissioning. Experimental equipment is installed as per user request. | ||||||||||||
